I finally finished Lena’s big girl room. I know I talked about all my decor plans here, but the time has come to transition my little one from a nursery to a toddler room and while it’s a touch sad, I’m excited for all the other firsts’ that are going to take place here.
I’ve always been an A-type personality and as soon as the warmer weather hits, I naturally start thinking about spring cleaning and become a woman with a mission (much to the dismay of my entire family). Two summers’ ago we went on a trip to Lisbon, Portugal. With two kids in tow—and in retrospect, too much luggage—it was exhausting (cue the: ‘what were you thinking?). While the kids loved riding the tram cars and the crazy-cool lifts, what I gleaned from our 7-day vacay is how much inspiration Lisbon has to offer for contemporary design, even though it’s one of the oldest cities in western Europe.
