Accessory designer Minling Pan is the creator of MIN, a line of chic, everyday workday bags and totes, and most notably, her whimsical line of clutches (her latest Fall 2016 collection has clutches shaped out of perfume atomizers!). Often on the move, Min jets off across the globe attending trade shows and visiting retailers. However, if a trip takes her more than 10 days she’ll often bring Gloria, her toddler, along for the ride. While it can be stressful there are a few things that she relies on to make the journey with her mini as comfortable and tantrum-free as possible.
On her travel bucket-list: Shanghai. Although she’s been there once for Shanghai Fashion Week she didn’t have a chance to explore the city as much as she would’ve liked. “I was surprised at how busy it was. There were multi-cultures combined with urban vibes all throughout the city. Generally I’m not able to afford time for fun during business trips. I’d like to visit some local cafes, but being with Gloria makes it a bit difficult and not at all relaxing.”
Currently in Hong Kong where she’s busy opening her own concept store, Min took time out to share her long haul necessities when she travels with her wee one in tow.
